I feel very honored that I had the opportunity to meet Michael, Alpana, and their dog George. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is being able to temporarily immerse myself into other people’s lives/cultures for a day. This was my first time witnessing an Indian ceremony and I loved every moment of it. Although I didn’t understand what was really happening at the ceremony, I loved the little beautiful moments in between when Michael and Alpana would look at each other in the eyes, hold each other’s hands, and give each other warm smiles during the wedding. It was one of those magical moments that not even words or photographs could ever fully express.
